Congratulations Brother
Posted On: Mar 26, 2018

We would like to Congratulate Retired Brother Kenny Wells on the opening of his new BBQ diner.  Kenny retired from the elevator trade back in February of 2015 and moved to South Caroline.  He has now started working again.  He now owns a little place in Lexington, SC called PK BBQ.  Now I know, from talking to Kenny before he retired, that this is exactly what he wanted to do.  He makes some of the best BBQ that you will ever taste.  So this did not surpise me in the least.  Maybe Brother Wells would like to invite a couple of our active members, who also do BBQ, down to check out his place and pick up some of their secrets along the way.  I happen to know, and so do some of you, that Brother Sue Murray makes some mean BBQ and Brother Bobby Bonner has won a couple of ribbons as well for his food.  Maybe, we should just start a "Elevator BBQ" somewhere and they can all bring their food to the table !!!!

The attached picture is Brother Wells with a couple of Local #10 visitors, Brothers Dave Strand and Tim Gray.  Thank you to Kennys wife Peggy for sharing the picture with us.  Best of luck to you Brother Kenny.  If we are ever near by, we will stop and have lunch with you.
